Rickie Fowler shattered course and tournament records to take the PGA’s Hero World Challenge played at the Bahamas’ Albany Golf Club at the start of December.
Fowler hit a final round of 61 – including birdies at eight of the first nine holes – to come home at 11 under par for the day and 18 under for the tournament.
Overnight leader Charley Hoffman had to settle for second place, four shots behind.
Tommy Fleetwood and Jordan Spieth tied for third place while Tiger Woods, on the comeback trail after injury, tied for ninth place.
The $1m prize was the second PGA tour winner’s cheque for Fowler this year, having taken the Honda Classic in February.
