There are some new gadgets you need to know about before practicing your swing. Golf accessories can greatly improve your game – or at least make life easier.
There are around four million golfers in the UK who could take advantage of these.
So if you think you’re all kitted out and ready to hit the course, think again.
We’re here to tell you about the best golf accessories you never knew you needed until now.
1. A Swing Analyser
Swing analysers are available as either standalone devices, or as a mobile app.
They tell you the key details about your swing. That includes the angle and trajectory, speed, the plane of the swing, an estimate of hip rotation and much more.
Some will even provide feedback about your swing, so you don’t have to constantly check your pockets.
Find yourself a set of great clubs, and use the analyser to track and improve your performance every round.
2. Use a Radar to Find Lost Balls
Radar systems mean you will no longer struggle to find your balls.
Microchipped balls can be traced in moments using these systems. You may need to use a special device. But many of these work via Bluetooth, so you can just track the balls using your phone instead.
Yes, you may still have some balls that are irretrievable. However, the money you save because you lose fewer makes this system totally worth.
Plus, it makes your game far more convenient!
3. Golfing Gloves
There’s a reason why you always see the pros wearing gloves. These accessories can give you a better grip, leading to better swings. In turn, this takes strokes off your game.
Essentially, gloves stop your club sliding (rotating) in your hands as you swing. This is a key thing to stamp out to ensure accurate shots.
Something so simple can have a dramatic impact on your performance. So, don’t miss out on this!
4. Golf Ball Pick-Up Device
Bending over to retrieve golf balls can be uncomfortable. Particularly as we age, this motion can lead to a sore back.
Instead of stumbling into hedgerows and peering into ponds, use a pick-up device to retrieve your balls.
You can get these as a ‘suction’ cup to attach to the end of a club. Or alternatively, there are claw devices available. They fit best onto a putter for retrieving your ball after victory at the hole.
And to find those balls in the first place, make sure you have a radar as we talked about earlier!
